What is the difference between integer and real division?

As with the C/C++ languages, Numera supports INTEGER division whereby the result is always an integer.

In order to accomplish REAL division, that is, the result of a division operation can have a fraction part, one or both of the operands must be a real number containing at least a dot, or one or both must be a variable that holds a real number.

When using division, you MUST be aware of this distinction when using the Expressions and Function Grapher documents. Once you've downloaded Numera, please read the Essential Knowledge topic in Numera's help file.
